YOUR IMPACT AT CIRCULA
As our Interim Head of People & Culture, you will play a critical role in overseeing and advancing the People & Culture function during a 12+ month maternity cover period. You will be responsible for enabling our growth through strategic hiring, developing, and retaining top talent. Reporting directly to our founder and CEO Nikolai, you will work closely with senior staff members to drive our employer brand and foster a thriving company culture.
Responsibilities:
Leadership & Empowerment: You lead, empower, and guide our People & Culture team, including our People Partners, Talent Acquisition Managers, and an Office & Feelgood Manager.
Entrepreneurial Responsibility: You oversee talent acquisition, performance management, people development, HR administration, and employee communications, and ensure the alignment with our organizational goals.
Strategic & Data-Driven Thinking: You provide our C-Level with data and insights, thinking strategically and using data-driven approaches to form your opinion.
Support & Advice: You advise heads of departments on people-related matters, including performance management, feedback, promotion, and learning & development, and create policies and guidelines as needed.
Change Agent: You anticipate HR-related needs, adapt your People strategies, and deliver value-adding services alongside your team.
Cultural Projects: You collaborate with the CEO and senior leaders on projects that embed our values and core beliefs into our culture, ensuring Circula stays a great place to work.
Vendor Management: You evaluate and manage third-party vendors and partners.
YOUR TALENTS FOR CIRCULA
Qualifications. Min. 6+ years of HR experience, including leadership experience, preferably in a multi-location startup or high-growth environment. You have experience leading people operations, performance management, talent acquisition & other people topics.
Ownership. you own all things related to the people function, take ownership and are trusted by senior management and employees
Drive: You have the ability to think strategically, solve complex problems, and drive results in a dynamic and rapidly changing environment.
Collaboration. You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build collaborative relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization to drive positive business outcomes.
Growth Mindset. you believe in the potential for development and improvement through effort, learning and perseverance. You embrace a growth mindset which can profoundly impact the whole organisation.
Transparency. you are an open and honest person, who likes to share experiences in your team and welcome transparent feedback
Language. you are proficient in both English and German, with experience in international environments
The role is a maternity leave cover for 12+ months. Part-time (min.30 hrs/week) is also possible.
